Chat

Overview

Events with chat enabled have a real-time group chat for all attendees. Chat is available during a window around the event, configured by the organizer.

Accessing Chat

Open the chat from the chat row or the Chat action tile on the event detail page.

Chat Screen

Messages appear chronologically with day separators. Each message shows the sender's avatar, username, timestamp, and content. Pinned messages are marked with an indicator.

Sending Messages

Type your message and tap send. Messages appear immediately with a "delivering" status until confirmed.

Reactions

Long-press a message to add a reaction.

Deleting Messages

You can delete your own messages with a confirmation prompt.

Loading History

Tap Load earlier messages to fetch older messages.

Connection Status

Status	Meaning
Active	Connected to the chat server
Connecting...	Establishing connection
Disconnected	Connection lost; tap to reconnect
Access removed	You have been banned from this chat
Chat closed	The chat window has closed
