On first launch, the operator scans the QR code generated by the organiser. The app authenticates automatically on the event. Just once.

The operator opens the app and scans tickets. The app automatically detects the event from the ticket. No manual selection.

Our scan protocol is open and documented. Any technical team can build their own integration: custom hardware, self-service kiosks, integration with an existing access control system. Without depending on Praticable Scan.

05 Frequently asked questions Four answers

Does the app work without a network?

Yes. Ticket lists are downloaded before the event. Scans are stored locally and synced as soon as the connection returns. No risk of duplicates: the first validation wins.

What hardware is compatible?

The phone camera, Bluetooth readers (Honeywell, Datalogic, Zebra), USB scanners on Android, and NFC on iPhone and Android. For specific barcode readers, see the open protocol.

Can you control multiple gates?

Yes. Each operator can be assigned to a specific gate (VIP entrance, backstage access, internal checkpoint). Scans are tagged and exportable by zone.

What if a phone is lost during the event?

You revoke access from the dashboard in two clicks. The token expires immediately. Scans performed up to that point remain valid.
